ABOUT
Beat Retreat, a week-long retreat in the Dominican Republic, is a once in a lifetime opportunity for aspiring music producers and DJs to learn and collaborate with the DJ’s they’ve admired face to face. Participants will refine skills in electronic music production, songwriting, marketing, working with record labels and engage in music collaborations in the studio. Beyond the studio, this retreat immerses attendees in the Dominican Republic's landscapes and culture, fostering creativity and inspiration. Geared towards DJs and producers already active in music but not yet full-time, Beat Retreat promises a transformative journey toward artistic growth and a future in electronic music.

Courses & Mentoring: Guided activities and talks by professionals Enamour, Atish, Neekola, Nick Garcia of Insomniac Music Group and Saeed Younan in the music industry, and Manuel Salazar in the mental health industry.
Lodging: 5 nights accommodation in a beautiful mini resort with two pools, 2 mixing studios and one state of the art recording studio.
Food: Full board (3 meals a day with unlimited non-alcoholic beverages).
Excursions: Three beachside meals out as a group, two local parties, meet the up and coming Dj’s of Cabarete in a music program started by Neekola at Inspire DR, an after school program for local youth and daily led meditation and yoga.
Studio Time for Collaboration: We include free time in which you are free to use the available mixing studios and recording studios to collaborate on music project, initiate peer reviews of your music projects, and one-on-one mentorship opportunities.
Catamaran Cruise Party: We will set out to sea on a Catamaran fully equipped with DJ decks and your Spring mentors headlining the musical journey into the sunset. Food and open bar is included, in addition to optional snorkeling.
Free Time: Enough free time to schedule optional excursions or study time at your leisure.

Our double occupancy rates offer a shared accommodation of two comfortable beds in our studio apartments, allowing you to enjoy the retreat experience alongside a friend or fellow participant.
